One Button Studio - Joyner Library

The One Button Studio @ Joyner Library is a simplified video recording setup that can be used without any previous video production experience.

One Button Studio What is the One Button Studio?

The One Button Studio allows you to record high-quality videos--regardless of your experience level--by pressing a single button. Mounted lights, a microphone, a camera, and a green screen are all provided for you. Press the button to begin your recording; press the button again when you are finished. All you will need is a flash drive to save the video.

How do I use the One Button Studio?

Whether you want to record a video for a class project, record a practice interview, or create a vodcast, the One Button Studio is a quick and easy solution. Simply:

  • Insert your flash drive into the Mac USB port
  • Press the button to begin a 10 second countdown to record
  • Press the button to finish your recording*
  • Remove your flash drive
* you may need to hold the button down for up to a second
